Creating A Weekly Reading TBR! 📚

I am going to be doing a Weekly Reading TBR from now on, as hopefully this will be a lot easier to follow and for me to not stray away from. I tend to be a mood reader and select books that are calling me or I’m in the mood for at certain times, so selecting a monthly TBR can be a little tricky and hard to follow.

So for my first weekly TBR, I have selected three books, with the hopes of possibly adding a fourth. Those books are;

Percy Jackson and the Battle of the Labyrinth- Rick Riodan – this is the fourth book in the Percy Jackson series, which I am currently making my way through for the first time. The third book was a little disappointing and tough to get through for me, so let’s hope that this book can get me back into the series.

Still Alice – Lisa Genova – this is a book that as been on my TBR for a while and a book that I’ve been a little apprehensive to read. When it comes to books regarding mental health or other illnesses, I’m always unsure about how they’re going to go about it. So I’m a little nervous but now is the time.

The Resurrectionist – Michael Patrick Hicks – I ordered this literally a few days ago from Amazon because it sounded good and was on sale. It’s rather short and I want to read it while I’m still excited and before I put it on my book shelf for it to wait for years to come back off.

I have already started reading these books as it is Wednesday, but I will aim to post the new Weekly Reading TBRs every Monday, instead of the random Wednesday like today. I will then also post Sunday Wrap Up posts where I will let you all know what I actually read, what my thoughts are, whether I stuck to my TBR, if I made any substitutions.

Let me know your thoughts and whether you recommend any books for any future TBRs 👋

Hello! My name is Shayney Hardcastle. I am a massive book enthusiast so I created this blog as my own little place where I can write and express my thoughts and review each book I have read. I am 23 and am currently living in a small town in Wales, in the United Kingdom, and love how reading let's me explore the world outside of this small town. I have also recently been sent more and more books and ARC by authors to review and wanted a place to review them that wasn't just on Goodreads and Amazon.
